Chippy Hutch

 Sold!

 The handles and dresser top look black, but they're actually a dark brown with a black glaze.  They look gorgeous with the green.

 I'm a little hesitant to show the before of this piece.  It's pretty bad.  Like hideous & gross, but I don't want the previous shape to keep someone from buying it.  I gave it a good bath before the refinish started.

Urban style Hutch

This project evolved A LOT while I was working on it.  I kept thinking it needed a little something more.  It started out white with sanded edges, then became yellow, then became a distressed yellow, then a stained, distressed yellow.  Chicken wire and a faux rust on all the hardware and, viola! I love the end result!

Buffet & Hutch

I just can't help it.  I LOVE red!  This beauty if made from solid Philippine Magogany.  I covered the back of the hutch with fabric, and then added a layer of Mod Podge on top to keep it from looking dirty.  Of course I distressed it, and stained it, and applied a protective coating, too.  I hope someone out there loves it as much as I do. 

It wasn't bad looking before, but now it's amazing don't you think?!

China Hutch

Dang! I wish I could remember to take before pics! I just get so excited to start, I'm usually about 1/2 way done before I remember. This hutch had mirrors in the back and was a light oak with gold hardware and gold in the glass. It looks much more modern and I think the owner of this is going to love it! She had it for sale on Craig's List and I've been looking for a hutch for myself. I looked at it, decided it wasn't the right size and then she decided to have me redo it for her instead of selling it. I'll also be doing her kitchen table to match. Fun, fun!
