Table & Chairs
Painted black with sanded edges this table is, of course, solid wood. The top is laminate which makes it even more durable, scratch resistant, and heat resistant than wood. It's been painted and coated with polyurethane. It comes with two captains chairs and 4 side chairs, and measures 75" X 35 1/2" with extentions as pictured, or 60" X 35 1/2 without extentions.
King headboard
Older furniture is almost always WAY better quality than what you can buy now (in an affordable price range). This Thomasville headboard is a case in point. It's solid wood, solid construction, and built to last! And it's beautiful! I love old furniture!

Isn't the detail on this dresser beautiful? The little door, the swirls, and the handles, make this such a unique piece of furniture. It's a little shadowed in the pictures so it's hard to tell the color but it's a soft, warm, yellow.

Seriously BRIGHT yellow before with some very messy paint. The knobs were even painted on. This one required a lot of stripper, for sure!"Weathered" end table
Ok, I know you all think I'm crazy, but in the right room this would look AMAZING! You know the kind of coastal look, or the cottage look with a few old things thrown in to add character? I need to stage this one because the driveway just isn't doing it justice. I was so psyched to get my hand on this treasure!
Baby Pink Girly Dresser
Think I could talk my teenage girls into putting this in one of their rooms? Yeah, I guess not. So it's for sale!!! I reinforced all the drawers with gorilla glue, and added a layer of semi-gloss acrylic for extra durability. It's ready for any kid!
Bright teal desk & chair
This little cutie has beadboard on the back and sides, and is glazed with black. The padded chair is the perfect addition!

I have a confession. I'm really afraid of color. Right now I have 3 rooms I'm getting ready to paint and decorate, but I think I need to try something other than brown, black, and red! Here is an example of my decorating style. I know it's boring, but it's what I like. This is our guest bathroom and I think the only color is in the plant sitting on the vanity. I've thought about painting in here, but all I would do is brush on a brown glaze. Ha ha.
I want kind of a country chic type look. Any color suggestions? I'm keeping the bedspread, painting the furniture, and maybe doing board & battan on the walls like this. White furniture, sky blue walls? Help! Give me your opinion & suggestions on other colors to tie in!

Black Dresser from lostandfound
Kimette at Lost and Found refinished this gorgeous dresser and I purchased it in the Spring. I know, weird, huh? I hadn't started selling yet, and I had never run across a dresser I liked more. (This still holds true). I just bought a new bedroom set, and sadly, I don't have a place for this beauty anymore. Believe me, I tried. Anyway, she is for sale, but I'm keeping the nightstands!

I was in the process of refinishing this set, when the lady with the media console came over and decided she wanted it, and asked if I could paint it to match. So that's what we did.
I had already removed the cushions when I remebered to take a before pic, but picture forest green vinyl...yeah.
Media Console
This amazing piece of furniture was purchased at Down East (originally from Pottery Barn) and had a few little issues. The owner decided to go for it and have it refinished in orange. In my pictures it doesn't have any knobs because the owner was going to buy new knobs in oil rubbed bronze. I'll post a picture of it as soon as she sends one. I love all the little drawers!
Dresser
This dresser is super solid, and made to last for many, many, years to come. The drawers slide perfectly, and of course, it's totally updated with a black finish & distressed edges. Measures 64" x 32".

This is kind of a different style for me. I like some of the stuff Brooke at "All Things Thrifty" does and so I decided to try out her black glaze technique. I think I like it? It's just way different than my usual, but different is good, right?Man this thing was ugly before! Anything would have been an improvement!
